The Rotary Club of Darwin was Chartered on the 8th of September, 1958 (Charter No.17722) with 28 members; today the Club has 40 members drawn from across the community.
Darwin (approx pop 64,000) is the central business hub for Australasia and is located on the Northern Coastline of Australia.
Since Darwin is the only city situated along the Northern Coast it has become the major regional business center servicing a diversity of industries including: tourism, logistics, fishing, mining, and education.
Darwin's tropical temperatures range between a wet season average maximum of 36°C and a dry season average maximum temperature of 30°C.
